The Cortland Fairplay PIKE fly fishing set features a graphite composite rod blank perfectly matched with a graphite matrix composite reel. 

Note: don't confuse this set for the cheaper 8 feet set from Cortland. Almost the same but with a shorter rod and beginners line.
